Do remember, getting ready and the time we take to do so will vary from lady to lady. This sexy guide is a generalization time-wise although I have been able to implement these strategies in the amounts of times specified.
Regardless, these tips will amplify your beauty, attractiveness and HOTNESS.
At the bottom of this article is a cheat sheet to hotness. That last section is my favorite with tons of tips to complete your new sexy and hot look!

Step One: How To Look Hotter | Proper Colors = Prettier Face
Proper colors play a large factor in attractiveness. Mark this down ladies!
Go through your selection of clothing, pick up your top choices of garments for the day and hold them up to your face in the mirror. Be cognizant of the lighting you are in.
Pick an outfit up to your face and see what instantly makes you come to life.
Does this color make you look;
- More Vibrant?
- More Alive? Brighter?
- Is it Complimenting Your Skin Tone & Hair?
- Basically, Does it make you look prettier?
Or do you see this effect?
- A Duller Looking Complexion?
- Looking More Tired?
- Looking More Pale or “Off”?
- Basically, Are you looking less attractive?
If the above is true, do NOT select this garment. Choose the one that gives you that little boost. Even prior to makeup, our correct colors can make us look much prettier and look hot instantly!

Step Two: How To Look Hot | Color Selection Part II
We just assessed how color has an effect on us, an instantaneous one for that matter.
We have an outfit that makes us look more alive, brighter, vibrant, healthier and a touch hotter already.
Here in step two, we will apply a color to our actual face this time, that instantly brightens our face and makes our features more distinct [if that’s what we want].
Or, we can create a more soft and blended effect if we feel our features are too distinct, not feminine enough or “harsh.”
Highlight Your Feminine Features Or Create Some Feminine Features
Save the article I linked below for later. It has so many tips to get a more feminine looking face. Truly gave me more confidence in my appearance as I personally don’t have the most feminine facial features.
Let’s decipher;
OPTION 1:
Are you trying to create more contrast in your face?
Basically, You’d like to highlight your already feminine features
Or
OPTION 2:
Are you trying to create a more blended look and trying to soften harsher features deemed “not as feminine” such as having a bit of a larger nose, small lips, larger jaw, etc.?
Basically, You’d like to blend some of your harsh features into a softer looking, more feminine face.
So how does color play into Part II of how to look hot? If you selected the OPTION 1 to create more contrast, you’ll want to put on a lipstick with some nice shade to it. Darker mauves, reds, berry colors, tans. Something that’ll pop a little bit off your complexion.
If you selected the OPTION 2 to blend some of your not so feminine features, [don’t worry, as I too fall in this category ;)] you’ll want to select lipstick colors such as soft pinks, pale pinks, nudes, colors with less depth to them.
Remember we want to soften and blend in this option. We will be creating contrast in step 3, regardless of which category we fell into for lipstick.
Remember, the lipstick color should do what our garment is doing for us. It compliments our skin tone, hair and overall look.
How To Look Hotter If You’re Not A Lipstick Gal
I was looking at a high school photo of myself from years ago. I had no makeup on except super shiny clear lip gloss. WOW did I look FRESH! Sometimes, just a gloss can create that HOT look we are going for.
And if your neither a gloss gal or a lipstick gal, lip liner can also give that boost! Slightly outlining and then blending on parts of your lips [need not the entire perimeter of them!] can create that mini WOW factor.
And if you want neither lipstick, gloss, nor liner… I suggest a little highlight of your cupid’s bow. Put some shimmer along the upper lip line just for that little angelic glow near your lips.
Step Two Summary:
- Put on a lipstick that either defines your feminine lips and creates more contrast, or put on a lipstick the blends your not so feminine features if you are trying to create an overall soft look.
- Alternatively, you can use a super shiny clear gloss. Or lip liner. Or simply highlight your cupid’s bow for my no frills girls.
- Berry tones, reds, tans all can create a contrast. Light pinks, nudes, and muted colors will create that softer look.
Step Two Approximate Time: 10-15 Seconds [Application]
Step Three: How To Look Feminine | Create High Contrast In Feminine Features
Interesting studies have shown that having more contrast in a woman’s eyes and lips compared to her skin creates an overall more attractive look to the male looking at her. Knowing this fact, I feel it is always imperative to play up those pretty eyes. Cartoons have always shown the sexy and hot characters with lush, thick lashes.
Knowing this information, we can assess that a woman’s features are more defined when there is greater contrast among other features of hers thus creating a more feminine look.
Choose how you will define your eyes.
- Eyeliner? [And What Color?]
- Curled Lashes?
- Mascara?
- Blended Shadow?
SEXY TIP NO .1 : Don’t underestimate the power of the eyelash curler, a good one that is. Do be careful as they can be harmful if you don’t know how to properly use one!
SEXY TIP NO. 2 : Mascara itself is a “game-changer.” When selecting a mascara in an even darker shade than black such as blackest black or carbon black (many brands have the option) it adds and extra dash of sexy drama.
SEXY TIP NO. 3 : Don’t forget to coat your bottom lashes! What. A. Difference. Instant definition, alongside INSTANT EXTRA femininity and “LOOKING HOT,” might I add.
Remember to keep it slightly natural and slightly done up. We want a little extra something without being “too glam” or “too over the top,” unless that is the effect you desire! Do as you please.
Step Three Summary: Create contrast by playing up your eyes. Mascara is essential for me personally, but do select what plays up your eyes most comfortably to you. Even if its just a curl of the lashes! Mascara in a shade even

Step Four: Diffuse Imperfections
If we have imperfect skin, lets dab a touch of concealer and melt some foundation into our skin with the warmth of our fingers. Always make sure to have a good color selected.
Are you fair with yellow tones? Rosy tones? Make sure to figure out all of the basics in selecting the proper color.
I personally love to have 2-3 colors. Each one can be used depending on the season (if I am tan, or more sun-kissed) and I can always blend two different colors for that perfect match.
I also will use my darker shade at times in some of those “contour areas” without having a severe contoured look.
A seamless blend occurs when using two different foundations close to one another in color.
SEXY TIP NO. 4 : Diffuse “imperfections” or protruding facial features you’d like to soften with blush. Blush on the forehead and chin can soften these features and create a more feminine look.
>> This technique also brings more light to the triangle area of the midface potentially creating a more youthful and feminine look.
>> Blush also adds a look of health and youth and can offer that glow you want as the hotter version of yourself.
Instead Of Diffusing “Imperfections,” You Have The Option To Highlight Your “Quirks”
My MOST favorite tip in Step Four, No, ACTUALLY it’s my favorite in this entire article.
I love imperfections and little quirks in people and personally find them HOT. A crooked tooth, tooth gap, a freckle, whatever it may be, there is a distinct feature you may have that others may see as sexy.
Highlight it darling. Smile more and show off your “imperfection,” don’t put cover up on your freckles, don’t “correct” your amblyopia (lazy eye) with makeup. I knew a girl who had this, and it looked somewhat seductive, somewhat like she was winking at you, and somewhat cute.
Step Four Summary: Whether it be a touch of concealer or a mix of 2 foundation colors to get that perfect color, apply something to conceal imperfections. A perfect canvas is HOT! You can diffuse other “imperfections,” such as a broad forehead or chin with a swipe of blush. It creates a very softening effect.
OR… Highlight your quirks, they indeed can be super sexy!!
Step Four Approximate Time: 1 Minute, 30 Seconds
Step 5: Adding That Extra Little Something
This can be something that completes your look. Here are some ideas to complete your sex, hot new look and add that little something extra. A dash of sparkle, mystery, sophistication; You decide darling.
- Add some sparkle to your look with a lovely highlighter on the high parts of your cheekbones. Or maybe dab a little on your browbone. A little on your clavicle perhaps? An old trick that never seems to fail.
- Shimmer in a different way, with a dazzling piece of jewelry. Whether it be diamond studs, a simple necklace, a one of a kind bracelet… Select a piece of jewelry that makes you dazzle a little bit.
- Add a piece of sophistication for some sex appeal. A structured bag, a watch, a structured blazer. Perhaps just having a book in your purse. This alone is a sexy thing. Beauty & Brains.
- Add heels to your outfit. No need to put on 4 inch heels, low kitten heels have always been an elegant touch to an outfit. A SUPER HOT effect to even the most simple outfit.
- SEXY TIP NO. 5 : An alluring perfume, or perfume oil can really add that little extra something that creates instant attractiveness. Have a scent that elevates your mindset to that up-leveled woman and use it to create a sexy aura about yourself. That finishing touch.
Step Five Summary: Add a little extra something to complete your look and elevate it the next level. Next level meaning any level you see fit. Do you want it to look more sophisticated? More Feminine? More Bohemian? More Seductive? More Unique? Whatever it may be, add that extra piece that give you that next level look, and feel.
